Things people ask before booking.

What's the difference between the consultation call and the Discovery Deep-Dive?
The 30-minute Consultation is free. It's a fit-check — we make sure we're the right team for your project, scope it together, and you leave with a written quote. No pressure to sign.

The 90-minute Discovery Deep-Dive happens after you've signed on. It's a full working session where we dig into your business, voice, brand, audience, competitors, and conversion goals. Everything we design and build flows out of that session — it's why our sites convert better than agency builds that skip this step.
What counts as a "page"?
A page is a single, custom-designed URL on your site — Home, About, Services, Contact, individual service pages, etc. Blog posts and dynamic content (auto-generated category pages, single blog post layouts) don't count toward the cap because they reuse the same template once it's built.

If you need more pages than your tier allows, we'll quote those individually during your consultation — usually $300–$500 per additional custom page depending on complexity.
Why are your prices "starting at"?
Because every project is different. Final scope (page count, sections per page, content rounds) is locked in your written proposal before any work begins — that's where you get a real fixed-fee number, not a moving estimate. We don't surprise-bill our clients.
What if I change my mind about scope mid-build?
Within the agreed revision rounds, we'll adjust freely. If you need to add new pages, swap out major sections, or rebuild after we've already designed something, those count as out-of-scope and we'll quote them separately so the timeline and budget stay clear. We'd rather have an honest conversation than eat the hours and resent it later — and you'd rather know than be surprised.
How long does a build actually take?
Launch builds typically run 4 weeks. Growth builds run 6 weeks. Signature builds run 8 weeks. The biggest variable is how quickly you provide finalized copy and approve designs — fast clients launch fast.
Do I have to provide my own copy?
Pages are built from finalized copy you provide. We don't write copy as part of the build itself — that's handled either by you, your in-house team, or as a separate copywriting engagement we can quote during your consultation. This keeps the build moving and protects your timeline.
Tell me more about the PackRank discount.
PackRank is our local SEO platform — normally $1,000/mo on its own. Build clients get steep discounts that scale with the package: $600/mo with Launch (40% off), $450/mo with Growth (55% off), and $300/mo with Signature (70% off). The bigger the build, the bigger the discount. PackRank is also limited to 3 agents per market, so spots are exclusive.
Do I own my website when we're done?
Yes. Full ownership of the site, the code, the domain, the hosting login, the analytics — all of it. We're not the kind of agency that holds your site hostage if you stop working with us. You can take it anywhere.
Can you work with my existing brand, or do you redesign everything?
Both. If you have a strong brand guide (logo, colors, fonts, voice), we'll build to it. If your brand is outdated or inconsistent, we can refresh it as part of the build. Brand work is scoped during your consultation.
What happens after I book the consultation?
You'll get a 30-minute video call with the person who'll actually be doing your work — not a salesperson. We'll cover your goals, current site, timeline, and budget. Within 48 hours you'll get a written proposal with fixed pricing. If you say yes, we collect 50%, schedule your 90-min Discovery Deep-Dive, and start the next Monday.
Do you only work with clients in Kansas City?
No — we work with clients nationally. We're based in KC and we love serving local businesses, but the entire process runs over video, email, and shared docs. We've built sites for clients across the country.
